 The Kitchen of Blossom Asian Bistro in Renton WA is lead by the experienced hands of Chef Jacques Fougere and Sushi master Hiro Kikuchi. Chef Fougere is a Cordon blue graduate of France and remains one of the finest chefs in the northwest. Together with sushi master Kikuchi, they have created a true masterpiece of infused eastern cuisine. Inspired by Japanese and Vietnamese traditions the kitchen at Blossom has no limit to its creative inspirations.

 The journey of the Blossom began when entrepreneur Gene Sens realized that Renton was in need of something new. Something that hadn't been done before. His solution is the Blossom, a restaurant where staff and customers alike can share ideas and inspirations of infused eastern foods. Gene knew from the beginning that this solution had to be lead by the best in culinary artistry in order to maintain the creative goals for his new restaurant. This is why he sought Cordon Blue educated Jacques Fougere and Sushi Master Hiro Kikuchi to share in his vision. Together they design seasonal menus ensuring only the freshest of ingredients and original culinary creations.

The kitchen at the Blossom maintains its high reputation and continues to wow critics and customers alike. It is this enthusiasm for original foods and creative expression that ignites downtown Renton and keeps people coming back. Gene's vision for a restaurant bound only by imagination and passion has blossomed into something that is no longer his own, it has become a coveted land mark in Renton that the people of Renton point to when they crave great food.

When I first walked in to Blossom, it felt a lot more formal then I was expecting, so I felt a little underdressed. But after being seated and greeted I felt right at home! They were quick and nice and have great food. I loved their fried shrimp fried rice!!  -T.H.

First of all the sushi is amazing.  Just flat-out, first-rate sushi. There was live music, and it added a really nice atmosphere.  I felt like I was in one of those Hong Kong movies John Woo used to make. -Julian H.
