"I just had my first visit at Premier Chiropractic with Dr. Steve Thao. Very experienced and knowledgeable, he immediately saw my legs and told me that my left leg was 1 inch shorter than my right leg.

He went on to suggest that this would cause pain on my left lower back and indeed it was so! Within my first visit, he fixed my left leg so that I am evenly balanced. He did some passive stretches (kind of like what sports stars get done before they go out and play) and helped correct other posture problems with my neck.

Next, their sports massage therapist Manni helped improve circulation problems in my upper back and reduced the muscle knots that I have developed over the years. Since this was a therapeutic massage, I was expecting it to hurt. But since I had a really really stiff back, it hurt even more. He said that as the knots went away, and my stiffness decreased, it would hurt less. He also suggested drinking lots of water to flush out all the toxins in my upper back.

Overall, a fantastic first visit and I am already signed up for more sessions in the weeks to come. In my opinion, this is worthwhile investment of time and money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"  -Hemant S. - Redwood City

"I started visiting Premier Chiropractic last year after Steve visited our office and gave us each a complimentary massage.  15 minutes of sheer bliss.  I'd never been to a chiropracter so I was not sure what to expect.  I've had a nagging mild sciatica issue for years and nothing seemed to help.  I was taking way too much Advil than was good for me.

So I began a regular visit to Dr. Steve.  My first treatment was a milestone, I came out from my first adjustment feeling like a totally new person.  I continued my treatment until I changed jobs and by the time I'd had my final appointment, I felt almost 100%.  The adjustments and the massages are incredible.

So, all this joy ends in April 2008 because I change jobs and am back working in SF proper (yay).  But, boy oh boy do I miss Dr. Steve and my friends at Premier Chiropractic.  My insurance denied me chiropractic treatment for 6 months "pre-existing condition" junk.  So I wait it out, and hunt yelp for a chiropracter in SF.  I keep looking, the clock keeps ticking and I'm feeling tighter and tighter and the sciatica is coming back.  Finally I am eligible so I call up Dr. Steve and ask if he can do a Saturday appointment, he can, oh joy!

Saturday was a few days ago, my first treatment in over 8 months.  I knew I needed an adjustment, but boy what a workout!  Dr. Steve adjusted me, I feel great but need more than one treatment.  He worked on me for an hour, the massage was great, but man-o-man I felt like I'd been hit by a truck.  All the hard work he did and the beating my muscles took, it was sooooo worth it.
