The clinic was founded in 2002. Since then the doctors and therapists have been freeing people from pain and restoring their optimal health and wellbeing at the clinic in Redwood City, CA. Having chiropractors with a combined 20 years experience, the clinic is fully committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of their patients.

Dr. Angelo Charonis was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His desire for optimal health is focused on a holistic, natural approach. Through chiropractic and the use of various manual therapies, his emphasis is to correct the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and to aid the nervous system in positively affecting health and vitality.

Our talented therapists:

Lisa Skinner - Certified Athletic Trainer (CAT), Certified Massage Therapist (CMT)- Certified Athletic Trainer (CAT), Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) ...Lisa has extensive experience working with injured individuals.  She has six years experience in the athletic arena working to ensure safe participation of both high school and college athletes in competitive sports.  She has 500 hours of clinical massage therapy training, and she has studied under some of the top instructors in the field.  Through twelve years working in the medical field she has gained skills in the active participation of rehabilitating and conditioning patients.  She has significant experience working with the elderly.  Lisa has been with Premier Chiropractic Clinic since 2004.

Kimberly Luzzi - Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) ... Kimberly has her National Board Certification of Therapeutic Massage and a Licensed Massage Therapist.  She has spent the majority of her career performing various sports massage and deep tissue techniques, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and prenatal modalities.  Her passion grew while figure skating competitively and while learning the importance of maintaining her body health to prevent injuries.  Since becoming a CMT she is dedicated to promoting alternative therapies to those who wish to excel at athletics and enhance their activities of daily living.  She continues her education in Athletic Training and Personal Training.

"A few years ago I experienced a bad wipe out wakeboarding on lake Berryessa (in Napa). I compressed a couple of disks and cracked a vertebrae. My 1st stop was a back specialist in Stanford who, after seeing me for 1 hour and without any MRI or x-ray declared that surgery and fusion would be necessary. I went to seek the opinions of other specialist and ended up trying the office of Dr. Charonis as I live not far from his practice. At that time, i could not sleep more than 2 hours a night and was in constant pain. Dr. Charonis was able to get me back in shape in about 1 month of intensive therapy. Each session includes manipulation than deep tissue massage by a professional massage therapist. Although the 1st few session were painful, the pain decreased by 90%+ over teh period. Angelo Charonis,

I had back surgery approximately 18 months ago for pain in the L-5 region. The pain subsided for about a year and returned worse than before and at the suggestion of a colleague I decided to give your office a try. Keep in mind that I was not a believer in chiropractic medicine. On my first visit I told you my history and gave you my MRI report for your review. After reviewing you were confident that you could better my condition without resulting to surgery. Jokingly I told you that three months from our first visit I had to play in a golf tournament that I have participated in for over fifteen years and expected you to get me through it as painless as possible. Previous years required me to see my personal physician and get a series of steroidal type injections that were necessary to get me through the weekend tournament. Not only did I not need the injections, I was pain free the entire final month of our visits and through the entire tournament weekend. Your methods and support staff of therapists gave me back relief I haven’t experienced in many years. I am truly a believer now in what chiropractic medicine can do for people.

Oh, and by the way, I won the tournament for the first time.
