Dr. Angelo Charonis was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His desire for optimal health is focused on a holistic, natural approach. Through chiropractic and the use of various manual therapies, his emphasis is to correct the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and to aid the nervous system in positively affecting health and vitality.

Jocelyn Yang - Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) ... Jocelyn has received her certification from the National Holistic Institute in San Francisco, where she graduated with Honors from the 720-hour massage therapy program. She has trained in several modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Therapy, Shiatsu and Prenatal massage. Since starting her career in massage, she has worked at health clinics, spas, sporting events, and also has experience in on-site chair massage. As a former Software Engineer, Jocelyn understands the importance of self-care and injury prevention through her own experiences with repetitive stress injuries.

Tera Mackinaw - Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) ... Tera received her certification in Massage Therapy from the Virginia School of Massage in 2007.  She is also a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Colorado and Virginia.  She moved to California from Colorado in 2009 and joined the Premier Chiropractic Clinic team.  She is dedicated to providing quality therapeutic massage and is interested in wellness philosophy.  She is an avid reader in her off time.

Melissa Ortiz- Certified Massage Therapist (CMT)… Melissa has received her certification in Massage Therapy from Trinity College in San Jose, CA., graduating with 730-hours. She has been working in the industry for over 6yrs. Over the years she has specialized in Deep Tissue Massage using Myofacial Release, Trigger Point, and Therapeutic Massage. She is also knowledgeable in Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Pre-natal, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, and has done several Chair Massage events. Her belief is maintaining good health and promoting longevity in your life by taking care of yourself and maintaining your body in good health. She is also interested in learning tennis in the future as well as golf and skiing.

"A few years ago I experienced a bad wipe out wakeboarding on lake Berryessa (in Napa). I compressed a couple of disks and cracked a vertebrae. My 1st stop was a back specialist in Stanford who, after seeing me for 1 hour and without any MRI or x-ray declared that surgery and fusion would be necessary. I went to seek the opinions of other specialist and ended up trying the office of Dr. Charonis as I live not far from his practice. At that time, i could not sleep more than 2 hours a night and was in constant pain. Dr. Charonis was able to get me back in shape in about 1 month of intensive therapy. I had back surgery approximately 18 months ago for pain in the L-5 region. The pain subsided for about a year and returned worse than before and at the suggestion of a colleague I decided to give your office a try. Keep in mind that I was not a believer in chiropractic medicine. On my first visit I told you my history and gave you my MRI report for your review. After reviewing you were confident that you could better my condition without resulting to surgery. Jokingly I told you that three months from our first visit I had to play in a golf tournament that I have participated in for over fifteen years and expected you to get me through it as painless as possible. Previous years required me to see my personal physician and get a series of steroidal type injections that were necessary to get me through the weekend tournament. Not only did I not need the injections, I was pain free the entire final month of our visits and through the entire tournament weekend. Your methods and support staff of therapists gave me back relief I haven’t experienced in many years. I am truly a believer now in what chiropractic medicine can do for people.

Oh, and by the way, I won the tournament for the first time.
